Ethereum's co-founder says a $1 trillion price crash wipes out Bitcoin, BNB, XRP, Solana, and Cardano

Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency after bitcoin,

has not been spared the brutal crypto crash that has erased around $1 trillion in a matter of weeks.

Ethereum's price has dropped by more than 65% since its peak last year, falling harder than bitcoin.

Some top 10 cryptocurrencies have fallen even more precipitously,

however, including rivals to Ethereum such as BNB, Solana, and Cardano, along with payment coin XRP.

Despite high-profile backers trying to predict the market bottom,

Ethereum cofounder Gavin Wood warns crypto traders and investors to "pay more attention" to projects they invest in.
