The jobs are spread across various engineering fields like Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical Instrumentation, Civil, and Mining. Salary: Rs 40,000 – 140,000 Rs (E1 Grade)
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 27 (as at the time of online application)

Modal of Selection
Candidates must hold at least a full-time bachelor’s degree in a particular field of engineering. They must have minimum the 65% mark, according to the respective University or Institute guidelines (55 percent for candidates from SC/ST/PWBD). Furthermore, they must have taken an exam called the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2022. The selection of candidates will be based on the GATE 2022 test performance.
NTPC Recruitment 2022 Qualifications
Electric Engineering- A full-time degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/Power Systems and High Voltage/ Power Electronics and Power Engineering to be eligible for the job.
Mechanical Engineering: A full-time degree in Production/ Mechanical Industrial Engineering. Production/ Industrial Engineering or Thermal and Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering to be eligible for the position.
Electronics Engineering Electronics Engineering full time education will be required to study Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Power or Power Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics to be eligible for the job.

Instrumentation Engineering A full-time education will be required to study Electronics and Instrumentation and Instrumentation and Control or Electronics, Instrumentation & Control for the job.
Civil Engineering full-time diploma is necessary for a degree in Civil/ Construction Engineering for being considered for the job.
Mining Engineering full time diploma is required in Mining to qualify for this post.
Placement
The candidates selected will go through an entire year of training at different locations and , after the training is completed, the final location of their posting will be determined. Candidates will be required to be on shifts, including a the night shifts.
